5 SMOOTHIE RECIPES FOR BREAKFAST

Smoothies have become an on-the-go staple for health-conscious eaters. They are just refreshing and delicious and most of the time, they’re also super-healthy if you are making them at home and have a good balance of ingredients and nutrients—including protein, carbs, and healthy fats. Many store-bought smoothies are loaded with excess sugar and calories. Once you’ve chosen your smoothie ingredients, just throw them all in the blender and go to it.

1- BASIC SMOOTHIE
  • ½ to 1 whole banana
  • 1 to 2 cups greens (you can substitute fruit)
  • ½ to 1 cup water or liquid
  • ½ ice
2- STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE
  • 2 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ ice
3- KIWI BANANA SPINACH SMOOTHIE
  • 3 kiwi
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup milk

4- PINEAPPLE ORANGE MANGO SMOOTHIE
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 orange
  • 1 mango
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ ice
5- MIXED BERRIES SMOOTHIE
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ ice
